FieldNotes.Tech is back! Kind of.. After becoming frustrated with Wordpress/Ulysses workflow, I let my WP subscription expire. I have tried multiple approaches to getting to a blogging workflow I am happy with: Notion/iOS shortcuts (painful), Bear/iOS shortcuts (also quite painful) and even started working on a native iOS/macOS app (too much work). Finally I decided to give Obsidian Publish a try. It isn’t the prettiest or most customisable experience, and has some pretty huge limitations. However, with the new plugin I developed (with inspiration from Landmarks) I have overcome most of the friction, and can now begin publishing again rather than fighting with tools!
